往事随风–选举投票
又到选举季节了, 刚收到所住城市的通讯选票，这让我想起与选举投票有关的往事。
上世纪80年代中叶，我在北京一部队医疗单位工作，正值改革搞得风风火火，其中之一就是基层选举，当时要搞一人一票选举所在地的海淀区人大代表。记得当时选票上有两名政治部推荐的人选，如不满意这两个人选，也可以在下面写上你中意的其他候选人。选举那天单位几百人都到设有票箱的球场排队投票，投完后，当场开票，票最高者当选。这是第一次参加所谓的民主选举，当时大家有点小激动，因此印象深刻。可惜的是几十年过去了，中国的选举并无长进。
人籍美国后，头些年工作忙，对选举投票无暇顾及。2008年奥巴马和喜来利为选民主党的总统候选人，打的不可开交，在加州初选空前激烈，这促使了我参加投票的意愿。我是无党人士，但可以在民主党的初选投票。投票那天虽然很忙，但仍想着要在晚八点前去投票，下班后就急匆匆的开车去投票所。半途中碰到一个红绿灯，前面车不知何因急刹车，我差点撞上它，我后面的一辆老爷车没有刹住，撞上了我的车尾，天黑只看见保险杆凹进去一小块，找对方交换资料，对方下车说了句没什么， 开车就跑了，我当时只记下了车牌号，想着还是赶快去投票吧。路上不放心，就找了个亮点的地方停下来，这才发现被撞的保险杠完全裂开，投票还是算了吧，报案要紧。于是掉头开到了警察局，在警察局等候，笔录及查车，一折腾就过了八点，票是投不成了。后来警察说那个车牌号是假的，去修车花了$2700，找不到对方，保险付了$1700，自已损失了$1000。
那件事后，倒激发了我投票的热情， 我一劳永逸登记了通讯投票，这样不用再火急火燎的了。 多年来，我每次收到选票，都会花些时间来看选票议案和候选人介绍，尽可能选出自己中意的候选人和提案，虽然自己的力量微不足道，但是社会就是由我们这种小选民组成，就象大河是由小溪汇集而成。美国是我们工作和生活的地方，我们的后代生于斯长于斯，“This land is my land”, 但愿用我们的选票让美国的明天更好！

Horrible products and horrible customer service, the color you will receive is nothing like the color you see in the pictures. This is what I ordered vs what I received. I had previously ordered a pair but the color I received this time was completely different and when I tried to bring it up to the seller all they said was it was lighting, how can it be my lighting when the first park and the second pair are side by side

Not a fan what so ever. Ordered the first pair and thought maybe since they ran small that’s why they didn’t look good but honestly the quality is not great. Could also be the color seeing as the first pair I ordered was white and the second was silver and the white looked much better then the silver Look extremely funny on foot. If you’re foot is wide you have to order such a big size to have it fit and even then it is a mess. Went up 3 sizes! Took abt 3.5 weeks to arrive to US. Don’t judge my feet thx lol
